Congratulations to our winner Team “Oddfellas” and the recipients of the OUSA Student Support Kotahitanga Art Award.
Sponsored by The OUSA Student Support Centre this prize is valued at $150. At a time when we are often confined and defined by our differences and less by what connects us, we are feeling more and more disjointed. An opportunity to pause and appreciate the arts can allow us to celebrate and remember how we are similar and can even highlight a profound sense of connection to one another.
The spirit of Kotahitanga is a foundational value bestowed by Māori. Kotahitanga is the concept of togetherness and the idea of identifying as one with a shared sense of belonging.
